Father of Missing NorCal Baby Shot, Killed After Carjacking: Reports

A father wanted in the disappearance of his 6-month-old daughter in Northern California was shot and killed by sheriff’s deputies after carjacking someone in a neighboring county, according to media reports.

The Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Department said in a release Monday morning that their deputies and those from Shasta County, along with California Highway Patrol officers, shot and killed a carjacking suspect in central Dunsmuir about 7:45 a.m.

The Redding Record Searchlight identified the man killed by law enforcement as Matthew Graham, 23, who was considered armed and dangerous and wanted in the disappearance of his baby daughter, Ember Skye, on July 2.

Graham had been spotted on a security camera in the region and had been considered armed and dangerous.
