A Hollywood producer who suddenly vanished right before Thanksgiving has been found safe in Mexico, the Los Angeles Police Department said Friday.

Detectives from LAPD’s Missing Persons Unit determined Eric Kohler, 27, was in La Paz after reviewing tips, according to a news release from the department.

He was no longer considered missing, the release stated. Additional details about how he was located were not provided.

Concerned family members and friends had been searching for Kohler since they reported him missing on Thanksgiving. Previously, he hadn’t been seen since Nov. 24.

Kohler works as visual effects producer, according to his Internet Movie Database page. His credits include “The Avengers,” “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” and “The Hangover Part III.”
