Police are searching for the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist in the San Fernando Valley Thursday night.
Calls about the three-vehicle crash in the 8600 block of North Woodley Avenue in North Hills came in at around 6:40 p.m., according to Los Angeles police.
Surveillance footage of the incident obtained by KTLA shows the driver of a Harley-Davidson making a left turn out of a strip mall parking lot when the victim is fatally broadsided by the driver of a white BMW sedan.
The motorcyclist, a man in his late 50s, was declared dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
Police say the driver of the vehicle fled the scene on foot.
A passenger inside the hit-and-run vehicle stayed at the scene and provided information to investigators, according to police.

No description of the hit-and-run driver has been released.
Traffic in the area of Woodley Avenue and Napa Street was impacted while authorities investigated the crash and crews worked to clean up the debris.
