Mourners recently gathered at a Redondo Beach school to remember four people, including a 6-year-old student, who were killed in a deadly crash.

The victims – identified as 81-year-old Mary Wilson, 87-year-old Saeko Matsumura, 36-year-old Martha Gaza, and her young son, Samuel Gaza – died after being hit by a car that plowed through a group of pedestrians Wednesday.

The driver, 56-year-old Margo Bronstein, pleaded not guilty Friday to four counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and one count of driving under the combined influence of a drug causing injury, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

A vigil was held at the St. James Catholic School on Friday night.

A local church has set up the “St. James Redondo Beach Victims Fund” to help with funeral and other unexpected costs associated with the tragedy such as medical bills.
