The California Highway Patrol canceled an “endangered missing advisory” issued in several counties Monday after a 12-year-old boy and the mother accused of unlawfully taking him in Colorado were located.

Earlier Monday, CHP had said Liam Sweezey and his mother, Nikki Sweezey, were last seen in Burbank.

The boy was missing since about 12:35 p.m. Friday after allegedly being abducted by his mother.

The alert was activated by the California Highway Patrol on behalf of the Aurora Police Department in Colorado. Officials said the boy was also spotted in Barstow before he was seen with his mother in the 3300 block of North Glenoaks Boulevard in Burbank.

The alert was issued for San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego and Imperial counties.

CHP provided no details on the location or circumstances of how the pair was found.
