A man was fatally struck by an Expo Line train Monday morning, triggering major Metro delays in Exposition Park.
The fatal accident was reported about 11 a.m. in the 2300 block of Exposition Boulevard, according to Erik Scott, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Los Angeles police are investigating the man’s death as a possible suicide, said Metro spokesman Paul Gonzales.
Train service was suspended between the Expo/Crenshaw and Expo/Western stations. Bus shuttles were requested to transfer passengers. Delays were also reported along the route.
