Multiple lanes on the northbound 101 Freeway in Silver Lake were blocked  for over two hours early Thursday morning as police investigated the death of a pedestrian, officials said.

A woman reported seeing a man’s body on the freeway around 3:12 a.m. near the Silver Lake off-ramp, according to California Highway Patrol traffic incident logs.

The man was a pedestrian, CHP Officer Villalobos said.

CHP later identified him only as a 33-year-old man from Bell, the Los Angeles Times reported. The death came the same morning as a man’s body was found with gunshot wounds off the 210 Freeway in Glendora.

The freeway’s two right lanes and the Silver Lake Boulevard off-ramp appeared to be closed during the investigation, video showed.

All lanes were reopened, CHP tweeted at 5:54 a.m.
