A woman who allegedly abducted her 19-month-old baby in Winnetka turned herself in to authorities after the Los Angeles Police Department sent out an alert on the incident late Wednesday.
Diana Robles turned herself in with the baby, Kyra Mangayayam, and the child was returned safely to her father, the LAPD said in an update Thursday morning.
Baby Kyra Mangayayam had last been seen in the 20200 block of Keswick Street around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday. Robles did not have custody rights for the baby when she allegedly abducted her, police said.
No further details about the incident were released Thursday.
