Police investigating a possible shooting in the Exposition Park neighborhood of Los Angeles Monday later said the incident did not appear to be a car-to-car shooting.

A crash was reported around 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of West 38th Street and South Normandie Avenue, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said.

At least two vehicles involved in the incident collided and came to a stop at West 38th Street and Budlong Avenue.

No one was reported to be injured in the crash but responding officers found what appeared to be a bullet hole in one of the vehicles, the spokesperson said.

Police said they were searching for a white Honda or Kia with tinted windows that may have been involved.

Authorities later said the incident did not appear to be a car-to-car shooting but did not provide further details.
