The California state Senate Health Committee held a hearing in downtown Los Angeles to gather testimony regarding the dramatic price increase in the EpiPen, the drug used to treat life-threatening allergies. Asked for comment, the company that makes the pen, Mylan Pharmaceuticals, pointed KTLA to its CEO’s Sept. 21 testimony to a U.S. congressional committee.
