Strong Rip Currents, Above-Average Surf Creating Dangerous Conditions at Some SoCal Beaches

People trying to escape the Southern California heat wave at the beach were facing their own dangers, as strong rip currents and above-average surf were creating hazardous swimming conditions on Wednesday.
