Three teenagers were behind bars Tuesday after unrelated threats were made against students at two schools in Rancho Cucamonga, authorities revealed Tuesday.
A student at Alta Loma High School, 18-year-old Andrew Riccardi, was accused of posting threatening messages on twitter, according to Teresa McMahon with the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department.
Riccardi was arrested Monday on campus after officers found two knives in his car, McMahon said.
In an unrelated incident, two freshmen at Los Osos High School were also arrested Monday for conspiracy to commit murder, according to McMahon.
Investigators allegedly found threatening messages on the student’s social media accounts about their intentions to kill fellow students, as well as a list of names, McMahon said.
The student’s names were not released because they are juveniles.
