Firefighters were called to the scene of a two-story apartment building that erupted in flames in La Verne Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported at 2:40 a.m. at the complex located in the 3000 block of Winfield Avenue (map), Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Rey Dong confirmed.
A total of four units were involved in the fire, which displaced a number of residents, a spokesperson for the Lavern Fire Department said.
County firefighters were assisting the La Verne Fire Department in knocking down the blaze that was burning inside the building, Dong said.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
