The Caesars Superdome may be the home for the Super Bowl in New Orleans next month, but this year, festivities will extend far beyond the Bayou State, thanks to Verizon.
In a first-of-its-kind event, Verizon is transforming stadiums and venues across 30 NFL markets, including two in California, for a nationwide FanFest event.
Attendees can enjoy football-themed activities on the field; live music; locker room tours; tailgate games; meet-and-greets with current and former NFL players like Marshall Faulk, Jason Witten and Tiki Barber; and more.
Sofi Stadium in Inglewood and Levi Stadium in San Francisco are just a few of the stadiums participating in the event. A complete list of participating locations can be found here.
“Super Bowl LIX is the most anticipated sporting event of the year, but few get to experience it in person; we wanted to bring that collective excitement and energy to fans across the country with once-in-a-lifetime access they’ll never forget,” Leslie Berland, chief marketing officer at Verizon, said in a statement.
Verizon customers can claim free tickets on a first-come, first-served basis starting Friday by visiting VerizonFanFest.com, with an option to bring guests to their city’s experience. The festivities will kick off on Feb. 9, Super Bowl Sunday, beginning at 1 p.m.
