The dramatic footage show a vehicle — traveling at more than 85 mph — slamming into another vehicle that was parked on the highway’s right shoulder shortly after 1:30 a.m., according to the State Police.

Two civilians who are standing nearby barely have time to react as the moving vehicle approaches, avoiding one of them by mere inches.

No one was seriously injured in the collision, the law-enforcement agency said in a Facebook post.

“This is also why we ask you to stay in your vehicle,” the statement admonished. “If the State Police cruiser was not there, the two people in the shoulder could have been struck and this message would be about a double fatality.”

The post also reminded motorists of the dangers of standing on the side of a roadway.

“Your vehicle getting hit with you sitting in it or your body getting hit by a vehicle traveling at highway speed … shouldn’t be a hard decision,” the post said.
