A tractor-trailer tumbled off a ramp and onto a busy highway, hitting two other vehicles during rush hour in Toronto on Monday afternoon in an incident that was captured on video.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m., the transport truck lost control on Highway 401, tumbled over the ramp and crash landed in the middle of Highway 404 below, according to Canadian television station CTV News.

Dramatic dash cam video taken from a vehicle traveling on Highway 404 showed the rig falling from the ramp and landing upside down on the road before coming to a rest on its right side.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to a hospital for minor injuries, but no one else was hurt, the station reported.

Most of the westbound lanes of the highway were shut down for hours while crews removed the wreckage from the roadway.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
