A photographer captured amazing pictures of a car that was left too close to Lake Erie in New York on Monday.

The car was parked along Route 5 in the community of Hamburg, just outside Buffalo, according to local TV station WKBW.

Strong winds pushing waves of icy water from the lake onto the car combined with freezing temperatures to transform the vehicle into an ice sculpture.

As WKBW reported, the owner may need to trade in their ice scraper for a blow torch to get this “carsicle” back on the road.

Several inches of snow fell in the Buffalo region in the past 24 hours.

The severe weather also forced the closure of several schools on Monday.
