Aerial video shot by Minneapolis television station KSTP showed the blue vehicle plow through a group of demonstrators and hit the woman.

She was then dragged by her leg — which appeared to be stuck beneath the vehicle’s front left tire — for several feet.

At least three people were on the hood of the vehicle prior to the woman getting struck, but it was not immediately clear if they had been hit or jumped on top of it.

Demonstrators immediately swarmed the large vehicle after it came to a complete stop. It soon took off again,  sending some people in the crowd scrambling to get out of its path.

The victim suffered minor injuries to her legs, but was expected to be OK, CNN reported.

The driver was cooperating with police, according to the cable news channel.
