A woman was critically injured in a downtown Denver shooting on Tuesday, and the suspect later committed suicide, police said.
The incident was first reported about 1:50 p.m. just blocks from the University of Colorado.
The first 911 call reported a male with a gun.
Multiple victims were first reported, but only one person was injured and the suspect died at the scene, police said.
Officials eventually secured scene, but continued to investigate the incident. The shooting did not appear to be random, police said.
