Woman Chases Man Previously Arrested for ‘Video Voyeurism’ Out of Target Store in Florida

A woman shopping at a Target store near Jacksonville, Florida, was being credited with exposing an alleged voyeur recently after she took cellphone video of the man when he began asking her inappropriate questions.

Jeffry Polizzi is seen in an image posted Candice Spivey’s Facebook account.

Candice Spivey posted the video on Facebook last week and said this was her second encounter with the man, which is why she pulled out her phone and began to record the incident.

“Do you remember running into me at the grocery store?” Spivey is heard asking the man, later identified by authorities as Jeffrey Polizzi.

Polizzi begins to run away and Spivey chases him and continues to record. “Hey you, where you going? Come back,” Spivey said in the video.

Spivey said this was the same man who approached her about two years ago at a Publix store in Jacksonville and had two young boys with him at the time.

“At first he is very believable. At first he comes up and seems like he genuinely need your help in regards of answering questions about a dress he bought for his wife,” Spivey told local television station WJXT.

The conversation began to turn awkward however, and Polizzi allegedly began asking her about her body and undergarments, which is why she knew who he was when he came up to her at the Target, CNN reported.

“He realized he had messed up and that’s when he turned around and took off running. I chased him because I wanted to get information on who he was. I wanted the public to be aware of him,” Spivey told WJXT.

Spivey then uploaded her video and asked people to get the word out. “If you guys could please share this and anyone who has possibly had encounter with this creep to please contact the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office,” her post read.

Spivey’s post had more than 2.2 million views as of Tuesday morning.

After running out of the store, Polizzi eventually got into his vehicle but was stopped by authorities on suspicion of reckless driving as he tried to flee, the Sheriff’s Office stated.

Polizzi was previously arrested for video voyeurism, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

The Sheriff’s Office also gave details on Facebook of Spivey’s account of the incident and asked for anyone who may have been approached by Polizzi to come forward.
