Texas Firefighters Finish Mowing Heart Attack Victim’s Lawn After Rushing Him to Hospital

A firefighter is seen mowing a lawn in Baytown, Texas, after a homeowner collapsed and was transported to a hospital.

After a 65-year-old Texas man collapsed from a heart attack while mowing his lawn, he was rushed to a hospital by local firefighters.

The first responders then returned to his home in Baytown and performed an act of kindness that has since gone viral.

“We felt bad that your husband didn’t get to finish the yard, so we did. … Let us know if there is anything we can do to help you out,” they wrote in a note addressed to John McCormick’s wife and later posted on the city’s official Facebook page.

McCormick, an Air Force veteran, passed away two days later.
