A Texas girl’s reaction to receiving a doll with a prosthetic leg has gone viral after it was posted on her mother’s Facebook page.

The video, posted Wednesday on Courtney Fletcher Bennett‘s page shows her daughter Emma receiving an American Girl doll, which was altered with the help of A Step Ahead Prosthetics, to have a prosthetic leg just like Emma, television station KHOU reported.

Emma is seen reading a note in the video and then gasps as she moves a piece of the gift box to reveal the doll’s prosthetic leg.

“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Emma says before taking the doll out of the box and giving it a big hug.

Moments later, Emma is crying tears of joy as she holds her new doll up for the camera and says, “It’s got a leg like me.”

Emma’s mother then continues to read the note about the doll’s journey, which was fitted for the leg after Emma’s parents shipped it to the prosthetics company in New York.

“After a few weeks of training, she is ready to go home and lead a life without limitations with you,” Emma’s mother reads from the letter.

Still in tears, Emma thanks the people who made her doll. “Thank you for making a doll like me,” Emma says as she clutches the doll with both hands.

The video had been viewed more than 9 million times as of Friday morning.
