The incident took place following a fight on the third floor of the Miracle Mile Shops parking garage at about 1:20 a.m., KVVU reported.

At 1:30 a.m., police received a report of a shooting nearby, Lt. Dan McGrath with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed to the station.

Two people were killed in the shooting, which occurred near West Harmon Avenue and Aldebaran Avenue, the Police Department confirmed in a tweet.

One of the shooting victims, a woman, was found lying in the middle of the street near Harmon and Aldebaran, KVVU reported. She was in extremely critical condition later pronounced dead.

A man and a woman who had also been shot drove into The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas valet following the incident, according to the television station.

The woman died at a local hospital and the man was in stable condition, KVVU reported.

Police apparently have video of the fight and confirmed the vehicle that drove into the Cosmopolitan was involved.

No one was in custody at the time of this report, Lt. McGrath with the Police Department told KVVU.

Police asked people to avoid the area during the investigation.
