Donate a Photo was created by Johnson & Johnson. It’s a simple way to give back – all you have to do is choose a charity and snap a photo. Upload it to the site and they’ll donate money on your behalf. Share your photo on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to inspire others. The app is available in the App Store and on Google Play.

Golden was founded by Sam Fankuchen. It helps you find volunteer opportunities based on the things you would otherwise be doing for fun. There are over 3500 opportunities in the Los Angeles area from 2500 organizations. Golden plans to launch in San Francisco and other parts of the nation, too.
