Listing agent Gail Laney told news publication Barron’s that the previous owner said his property has similar dimensions to the Disneyland attraction and that iron details found throughout the property were forged in a foundry specifically for Disney.
“He grew up a Disney nut because his dad was an animator for Walt Disney. He got permission to get access to the original plans of the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland,” Laney told the publication.
However, unlike the Disneyland attraction, the Georgia-based home is free of doom buggies and ghostly residents.
Spanning almost 9,500 square feet, the “one of a kind” home is an “open living area,” according to the listing.
The home includes six bedrooms and six bathrooms, a two-tier basement that includes a full bar and a chef’s kitchen with a complete butler’s pantry and grilling deck.
The owner’s bedroom has a private upper porch, morning kitchen, luxurious bath, and two oversized walk-in closets. Other rooms in the house also have “generous proportions, ample closet space, and well-organized storage areas throughout,” the listing stated.
Residents also have an unfurnished apartment on top of a three-car garage on the property and have access to the community’s clubhouse, playground, pool, tennis courts, and pickleball court.
“This unique property not only offers a distinctive living experience but also the opportunity to be part of a special community,” the listing said.
