The California Department of Public Health is fighting back against sugary beverages with The Not So Sweet Side campaign. To make California healthier, CDPH is spreading the word about the diseases linked to the overconsumption of sweetened drinks and encouraging better habits like sipping more water. While it might be tough to ditch those sugary cravings, public health physician Dr. Lucia Abascal says that drinking more water can help cut down on the sweet stuff, and that your taste buds will quickly adapt.
