A 19-year-old suspect was arrested Thursday after four people were killed in a shooting and found inside a burning Lancaster home. The suspect was identified as Miguel Sandoval, 19, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

On Nov. 16, shortly before 1:30 a.m., deputies responded to a shooting at a home on the 44500 block of Tabler Avenue. Authorities believed a party was being held at the residence during the deadly incident.

A nearly $60 million settlement was reached after claims that more than 1,200 people were sickened from exposure to a gas leak at the L.A. Department of Water and Power's Sun Valley Generating Station, attorneys announced Thursday.

The lawsuit alleged the LADWP endangered the largely Black and Latino-populated communities of Sun Valley and Pacoima when it failed to prevent the gas leaks, sickening nearby residents for years.
