Look for a few lingering thunderstorms inland as monsoonal moisture begins to dissipate over the region Monday.

Drier conditions are expected to return Tuesday and Wednesday.

A flash food warning is in effect in the Big Bear area as of Monday afternoon as a thunderstorm produced heavy rainfall, according to the National Weather Service.

It was expected to expire around 3:45 p.m., however.

Afternoon temperatures will be warm but around average on Monday.

We are expecting the air quality to be unhealthy for sensitive groups inland but conditions improve as you get closer to the coast.
