Gayle Anderson observes Women’s History Month at the California Science Center in downtown Los Angeles, which salutes the women who keep the educational facility functioning and teaching the community about the importance of science as well as Navy Lieutenant Commander Monica Borza, flight surgeon for the Blue Angels. She is featured in the California Science Center IMAX 3D movie “The Blue Angels: Real Pilots. Real Risks. No Second Chances.”
Also, we see the progress of the work on the new Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center. The public is starting to notice the changing skyline at the facility. The final ZEPPS panels are being installed on the diagrid the houses the space shuttle Endeavour. While the shuttle remains off limits to the public, we can still learn about the construction at the exhibits that will be featured at the exhibit ”Work in Progress Gallery.”
