Authorities are investigating after a man was found shot to death in La Puente.
On March 17, Los Angeles County deputies responded to reports of an assault on the 900 block of Fickewirth Avenue at around 9:35 p.m.
Arriving paramedics found the victim with gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No suspect was found at the scene. Although the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting remain unclear, detectives believe the incident is gang-related.
No further details, including the victim’s identity, were released as the case remains under investigation.
