A man who was stabbed during an altercation on a traveling Metro train was taken off at the Studio City station where he was treated and transported to a hospital Tuesday night.
The violent confrontation occurred around 8 p.m. between two males as they were on the Metro B Line headed from Hollywood toward North Hollywood.
The suspect allegedly used a large kitchen knife in the stabbing, freelance media firm KNN reported.
Video showed Los Angeles Fire Department personnel taking the victim from the station. He was expected to be okay.

The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction and is being sought by police.
There was no immediate word on what led to the argument.
It was also unclear if the two men knew each other before the incident.
