Gayle Anderson reports Spring has sprung at Descanso Gardens. More than 30-thousand tulip bulbs planted in January are now blooming in the Promenade. Descanso Garden officials say their bloom cycle will finish in April. Authorities confirmed Wednesday morning that a mother and daughter were killed in a shooting near an elementary school in Compton Tuesday evening. Deputies were called to the scene on West Caldwell Street and South Central Avenue near Caldwell Street Elementary around 7:15 p.m.
